Rene is the founder of Digital Architectural Portfolio which he started in 1998. Rene's early career began in Venezuela where he worked for several architectural and engineering firms. Among them were:

Pedro Rivas Architects

4 years on several commercial and residential projects; construction documents; architectural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical using the metric sytem

2 years on commercial, residential and interior

C.O.S.A. Consultores Occidentales SA (Engineers)

A petroleum engineering consulting firm working for the Venezuelan

government. Petroleum companies Corpoven and Maraven. Project:

Mottatan 1 & 2 in Maracaibo, Venezuela

Project Guasare (Maracaibo)

A goverment coal mine project in Venezuela developed between Zulia University, Corpozulia and Corbozulia to design the infrastructure for the extraction workers and administration

I then immigrated to the United States.

Not necessarily looking for the American Dream but hoping to make it, I started to work in the tri-state area for several architectural and engineering offices.
